HOLY SHIT I WANT THIS TV.
I’ve owed this TV since the middle of December and love it. The previous TV was a 46″ Mitsubishi Rear Projection and it blows that one away… The picture is great and like the clips showed there are a ton of features. Switching between components is a little slow but other than that I would give it a 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Best part is I got mine on sale for $899.00, same price as other brand’s plasmas in 720p
899? where did you get that from? ‘m planning to buy one please lemme know
i got one for 899 from Frys electronics, you can order it online. very happy with it so far.
im in australia.. and i went to JB hifi and got this exact tv and a unit for it for $1000
I own one already
lol if ur a tweaker
lg best looking i think
I just picked it up @ amzn… they price match ANYONE by the way, up to 30 days after purchase. No tax either compared to best buy and fry’s

@clownfish710 how is the tv for video games ?
@rko170
I haven’t played games on my LG50PS80. It CAN suffer from image retention, so I mostly watch TV/Movies on it. I’m sure video games would look great though! The TV has an amazing picture, I’m very happy with it.
(I don’t care who responds, just as long as you know what your talking about) QUESTION: A lot of these T.Vs have the Optical out on the back. My receiver is newer, but doesn’t support HDMI but does have the Optical in. I’m currently using that and I’m very pleased with the quality. My computer though, does do HDMI full HD out and I would like to use that to go to my T.V but it is kind of far away and I do not want to run an Optical cable to it. Will it encode the HDMI audio into the optical out?
Beware with? LG plasmas: some of the panels suffer from floating blacks (look at the videos in my profile to see how bad they are) and LG, while admitting that their plasmas do it, they don’t acknowledge it as a problem.
